In first 12 months, MAMA hosted its first international blockbuster, ‘Marilyn at MAMA’, and curated
an octane-fuelled exhibition of Australian and International artists for ‘Speed - The Fast and the Curious’.
Both exhibitions garner widespread national media interest, and successfully opened MAMA
to broader audiences beyond the typical art gallery visitor.
